Strategy: How to attempt Bank exams

As we know there are four sections which are certain  to come i.e English, Quantative, Reasoning and General Awareness. Other section like Computer Awareness, Marketing may come.
Time is the most crucial thing in the exam and presence of mind should be there in the examination hall.

If only above the four sections come, people always get nervous about which section should be attempted first. As per my view,

Start from General Awareness
This section can be attempted quickly provided you are well aware of the current affairs.
So one should make this section his/her strength. I think its not an herculean task if we read/learn the last 2-4 months magzines/newspapers.
Prepare the notes and keep on revising them every weekend.

Then comes Reasoning
After attempting GK section quickly or as much u can attempt from GK section quickly, go to Reasoning try to attempt the questions quickly which seems easy to you.
Reasoning can be made strength if we take this section logically and practically.
Some questions can be solved with a glance, some need a slight logical thinking, some need logical as well as practical thinking like statement-assumptions etc.
Practice can make u fast in this section

Now Quant and English
Quickly attempt the numerical questions (need only calculations) and DI part as fast u can...After attempting as much you can, jump to the English section
attempt questions except passage ...
After qualifying english, one may go to quant or reasoning to attempt the remaining..

IN case computer/marketing comes, then attempt these two after or befor GK..

These are my views for solving the bank exam. It doesn't have any link with other authors/books. One may alter it or adopt different exam strategies.
I would suggest all guys to try this first at mock tests if found succesful then apply in bank exams..

Think for a while about this strategy and Give your feedbacks

  2. hii,

My strategy is to attempt GA first as it hardly takes 15-20 min den English 25-30 min... then finally i switch to reasoning and Quant devoting 35 minutes to each section...

it would be very helpful if u include Vedic maths, shortcut techniques, some study material on computer nd marketing as well.

in case i need to send u ne material whts d email id???

  3. you guys can contact me thru Weeklygk@gmail.com
Deepshika, u r true from ur side as nervousness naturly comes...but GK section like read the question n Answer it very quickly ..its possible only if u hav a hold on current affairs...Second improve the way u take quant, dont feel nervous...Keep practice with the numbers and shortcuts..takes it as battle until u win...
Game is not over becoz u have stil to win it...
